About Our Business
Dreamscape Global was established in 1989 by Sheridan Tatsuno, formerly a senior
analyst and co-founder of Dataquest's Japan/Asia Semiconductor Service and co-author
of the "IC Startup" report on Silicon Valley semiconductor startups during the 1980s.

Dreamscape has advised dozens of major technology companies in the U.S., Japan,
Asia and Europe, including IBM, Intel, AMD, Canon, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Nokia, and many
others, as well as helped launch seven startup companies.  We serve as a business
accelerator to launch new businesses, both large and small.

In an era where technology is commoditized, Dreamscape remains market-focused.
We work closely with clients to answer key questions:  Where are the emerging markets
and new business opportunities?  Who are our potential customers?  What are their
major "pain points" and needs?  What solutions do they want?  How do they want them
delivered?  And at what price?   What are the new business models for achieving rapid
growth and profitability?

We began Dreamscape after finding so many companies pushing their "technologies in
search of a customer."   Instead, we reverse this process by first understanding the
market and potential customers, then co-developing the product or service with the
customers, an approach that rarely misses the mark.  Many of our clients have enjoyed
enormous success, such as AMD Japan, which doubled its sales to $200 million in one
year.

Currently, we focus on several key markets:

Digital Media:   JonKoping University (Sweden)
Wireless applications
IP management:   ChinaIPsmart.com, IPfirst.org
